TerraTec Producer Gets a Business Unit of Its Own
New branding for professional audio cards and I/O
solutions by TerraTec Electronic
A
return to one's roots can be a step forward. With that
mind, TerraTec Electronic is setting its Professional
Audio Cards and I/O Solutions division on its own two
feet. From March 2003 forward, all TerraTec products
for professional musicians and producers will be marketed
under the brand name TerraTec Producer. This business
unit has been structured accordingly with dedicated
sales and product design teams. TerraTec Producer features
a unique design, differentiating the line from other
TerraTec product families with. The same holds true
for other marketing tools such as fairs, ads and packaging.
Dirk Cervenka is playing a pivotal role in this repositioning
campaign. The 39-year-old industry pro joined TerraTec
in Nettetal three months ago as sales director and has
since presided over this challenging task. He brings
the necessary experience to the table. Cervenka has
worked in the industry since 1990, joining the Hamburg-based
software giant Steinberg in 1998 as Pro Audio sales
director.
A new name is set to debut at the Frankfurt 2003 Musikmesse.
All new professional TerraTec products will thereafter
be marketed under the Phase brand. The new Phase series
is the designated short- and medium-term successor to
the EWS product line. The company's stand in hall 5.1
will showcase a completely revamped product range. TerraTec
Electronic will of course present the MIC2 / MIC 8 and
the digital converter ViceVersa, which were unveiled
at the NAMM show and are now available. There are also
some surprises in store for visitors! Though still a
closely guarded secret, word is that the company will
present external USB and FireWire solutions, among other
innovations. In addition, the PHASE 88 - the successor
to the legendary MT EWS88 - will make its first public
appearance.
